SWIFT CURRENT, SK – Prairie beer blog On Beer reports a brewery that was first announced a bit over a year ago is now open in Swift Current, Saskatchewan.
Black Bridge Brewery was launched earlier this month by Clayton Stenson – a veteran homebrewer who has wanted to make the jump to commercial brewing for several years – and his wife Kari.
Its initial brands – Centennial Rye Ale and Milk Stout – are now available for growler fills at the brewery and on tap at select local bars and restaurants. A third core brand – IPA! – will be added to the line-up soon, and cans are planned to be available at SGLA stores sometime in November.
