HALIFAX, NS – In what could be viewed as a response to Garrison Brewing‘s release of the officially licensed Klingon Warnog Roggen Dunkel, fellow Halifax brewery Propeller Brewery has its own Star Trek themed beer being released today – albeit an unofficial one that takes its name from a more obscure part of the Trek canon.
Section 31 Pale Ale is named after a secret intelligence and defense agency that operates covertly in the Star Trek universe. And fittingly, very little has been announced about the beer in advance of its release, aside from the name and style.
Section 31 Pale Ale will be available starting today for growler fills at the Propeller retail stores in Halifax and Dartmouth while supplies last.
