TORONTO, ONMill Street Brewery has announced that one of its iconic flagship brands is now available in single-serve cans for the first time.

Tankhouse Ale was one of the first beers to be brewed at the original Mill Street brewhouse in Toronto’s Distillery District back in 2003. A 5.2% abv pale ale, it’s described as follows:

Tankhouse has been labeled as the “Canadian Pale Ale,” brewed in a classic American pale ale style but highlighted with nuanced tone that gives it a truly Canadian flavour. The result is an amazingly balanced beer that strikes a middle ground between bitter and sweet, hop and malt, and with exceptional drinkability. Five varieties of malt in the recipe give the beer depth and an abundance of cascade finishing hops impart a refreshing citrus aroma that leaves you wanting more.

473 ml cans of Mill Street Tankhouse Ale will be available soon at select LCBO and Beer Store locations throughout Ontario. It will also continue to be distributed in bottles and on draught in Ontario and and several other provinces.

  1. CANS have been available at Toronto TBS locations for more than a week now. Tastes pretty good in a can!
