EDGERTON, AB – Ribstone Creek Brewery has announced the return of Old Man Winter Ale, a strong seasonal porter that had a popular run as a limited draught-only release last year.
Now available in six-packs of cans as well as in kegs, Old Man Winter is described as follows:
Old Man Winter Ale has a notable chocolate character alongside some roastiness and caramel sweetness. The aroma is fruity and roasty. The beer is well bodied and starts sweet, malty and chocolatey then finishes a little drier and roasty. It is 6.6% abv and has a color of 21 SRM, which is dark brown, bordering on black. Ribstone Creek wanted to have something special to mark the holiday season. Keeping with the spirit of Christmas, this beer is dark and rich, something that fits well with the cold nights and traditional meals and desserts of the season.
Ribstone Creek Old Man Winter Ale is available now at select liquor stores and licensed establishments throughout Alberta.
