VANCOUVER, BC – Stanley Park Brewery has announced the addition of a new winter beer to its rotation of seasonal releases.
Ice Breaker Winter Ale is a 5.5% abv porter-style ale brewed with specialty German malts, dark chocolate and cherries. Described as being “well balanced with roasted malt and tasteful hints of dark chocolate and lush cherries,” it also has moderate carbonation and a relatively low bitterness level of 20 IBU, which is intended to “allow the unique flavours of this porter style ale to break through.”
Ice Breaker Winter Ale is available now in six-packs of bottles at select liquor stores in British Columbia. It also appears in the winter edition of the Lord Stanley’s Picks sampler 12-pack, alongside bottles of the fall seasonal Windstorm Pale Ale, and year round Stanley Park brands 1897 Amber and Noble Pilsner.
