TORONTO, ON – Twelve of Toronto’s top craft beer bars and six local breweries have announced plans for a city-spanning pub crawl to raise money for The Stop Community Food Centre.
Taking place on Thursday December 11th from 6:00 PM until midnight, The 12 Bars of Christmas will be loosely structured event with stops at a dozen venues including Get Well Bar, Handlebar, Tequlia Bookworm, Cloak and Dagger, Loose Moose, Dukes Refresher, The Sauce/The Wren, The Only Café, Louis Cifer, HiLo Bar, Betty’s and C’est What.
Four buses will be criss-crossing the city, with one stopping at each venue every 30 minutes. A $10 donation to The Stop will allow attendees to hop on and off as they please, essentially creating their own pub crawl at as many or as few of the venues as they prefer.
Each bar will feature beers from one or more of the participating breweries – including Junction, Sawdust City, Beau’s, Black Oak, Side Launch and Nickel Brook – and $1 from each pint sold will also be donated to The Stop.
