TORONTO, ON – Session Saison – a saison brewed with lemon verbena that was developed and released earlier this year by Sawdust City Brewing brewmaster Sam Corbeil, Session Toronto co-organizer Jeb Corbeil, and The Local 7 collective of seven of Toronto’s top craft beer bars – is returning in a holiday gift-pack featuring two special editions of the beer.
The Session Barrel Aged Saison pack contains versions of Session Saison that have been aged for 10 months in Ontario Cabernet and Ontario Chardonnay wine barrels.
As described in the press release:
The barrel-aged Session Saison is 7.5% ABV, but is very dry with a hint of lemon. The mouth-feel brings hints of buttery oak and sour fruit. This beer has huge flavor and is a wonderful celebratory beer.
The Barrel-Aged Session Saison gift pack is available starting today (December 5th) at select LCBO locations in Ontario, retailing for $19.95 per 2 x 650 ml package.
