HALIFAX, NS – Garrison Brewing reports that the much anticipated release of the winter seasonal Garrison Spruce Beer planned for last Friday has been delayed due to an equipment failure, but will be quickly followed by a limited barrel aged edition that was previously unannounced.
As posted on Facebook late last week, the breakdown of bottling line “Filly McGee” forced the December 5th release of this year’s Spruce Beer to be pushed out a week to December 12th, when it will be available in the Garrison retail shop and various other retailers in 650 ml bottles.
Following sometime before the holidays will be a limited bottling of the 2013 Spruce Beer that has spent the last year aging in Ironworks Distillery bourbon barrels. The exact release date and other details are expected to be announced soon.
