BURLINGTON, ON – Nickel Brook Brewery has announced the release of the 2014 vintage of Nickel Brook Cuvée, a spiced and barrel-aged reserve ale that is brewed and released in a different version each year.
This year’s edition is described as follows:
The 2014 Cuvée is our bourbon barrel aged interpretation of a Manhattan cocktail. Spiced with orange peel, cinnamon, all-spice and vanilla, this Cuvée was left for a year in 12-15 year old Four Roses and Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels that formerly held our Kentucky Bastard Imperial Stout. The resulting beer is a complex, warming and mellow copper ale that can be enjoyed today or left to cellar.
Nickel Brook Cuvée 2014 is available now in a limited run of 750 ml bottles, selling at the Nickel Brook retail store and select LCBO locations for $10.95 per bottle.
