ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has announced details of its next seasonal release, one named after the Roman God of beginnings that gives the month of January its name.
Janus: The Resolution Beer is a 10.2% abv beer described as a “Dunkle-Dubble-Hefe-Weizen-Bock.” While other details about the beer – including its label – are being kept under wraps until its release, the brewery has revealed that it was brewed using tamarind, a unique ingredient that “helps add to the array of flavours present such as almonds, lemon, liquorice and peach.”
Janus will be debuted at this month’s Railway City Thursday Night Release event, taking place at the brewery on January 15th starting at 7:00 PM. The $5 admission includes samples of the new beer and several other Railway City beer, and spots can be reserved by sending Railway City a direct message via Facebook or Twitter.
