BROSSARD, QC – The Brossard location of Les 3 Brasseurs brewpub chain has announced the release of a new limited run beer that has a name inspired by the hirsute brewer that created it.
RoggenBeard is a traditional German-style rye ale developed by bearded brewer Matt Miller, and described as follows:
RoggenBeard contains 50% rye so expect a very pronounced spiciness, earthiness, and hearty flavours similar to pumpernickel bread. These flavours are complimented by burnt sugar and raisin flavours imparted by the use of Special B, and subtle spicy and floral hop characteristics of Saaz and Tettnang. RoggenBeard is an easy drinking, yet interesting brew with lots of character, and will be enjoyed by all (with or without a beard). Prost!
RoggenBeard will be on tap for four weeks starting today (January 22nd) exclusively at Les 3 Brasseurs Brossard.
