VANCOUVER, BC – Glacier Media Group has announced the launch of a new print publication that celebrates the craft beer culture of Vancouver and B.C.’s Lower Mainland region.
The Growler – subtitled “Vancouver’s Craft Beer Handbook” – is a free quarterly 5 1/4″ x 8″ magazine edited by local journalist Stephen Smysnuik and featuring contributions B.C. writers Joe Wiebe, Jesse Donaldson and Niki Hope.
10,000 copies of the first issue were distributed this week to breweries, bars, liquor stores and other select locations in Vancouver and surrounding area, with future issues planned to follow in April, July and October.
A website for The Growler is still under development, but in the meantime, more information can be found on the magazine’s Facebook page and Twitter feed.
