CALGARY, AB – Big Rock Brewery has announced that a beer originally released last year as a one-off brand has returned, this time as a permanent listing in the year-round Signature Series.
Fowl Mouth ESB is a 5.5% UK-style ale with the following description:
Brewmaster Paul Gautreau came up with his plan to brew an ESB after visiting a popular and very rowdy beer festival in Falmouth, UK. Paul, an English trained Brewmaster, loved the bitters he tried there but wanted to put his British training to the test to see if he could brew an even better one. To keep it true to the style of great ESB’s, Paul imported barley from England, and East Kent Goldings and Fuggles hops. Our Brewmaster’s ESB is a beautiful amber colour, and quite balanced in the perceived hop bitterness/malt sweetness ratio.
Big Rock Fowl Mouth ESB is available now in Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia.
