VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing is continuing the 2015 edition of FeBREWary – a month of beer launches and events from the brewery – with the return of this week of a popular annual installment in the Beau’s Wild Oats series.
Strong Patrick is a 6.7% abv “interpretation of an Irish Red Ale” with the following description:
Part of the batch has been aged in whiskey barrels and then reintroduced, adding subtle wood and vanilla nuances. The style is typically lightly hopped, well rounded and balanced, with a pleasant toasted malt character. Brewmaster Matthew O’Hara describes the beer as luscious and red-hued with a malty backbone, showcasing toasty and toffee notes complemented by warming alcohol & whiskey flavours.
Beau’s Strong Patrick is available starting today (February 12th) at the brewery retail store and BYBO delivery service, select LCBO locations, and on tap at more than 150 participating bars and pubs across Ontario.
A two-day launch event for Strong Patrick will take place at the Beau’s brewery this weekend (February 14th & 15th), with a special cask-conditioned version to be tapped on Saturday, and food pairings from Beau’s resident chef Bruce Wood.
For more details on these and other events and beer releases planned for the month, see the FeBREWary page on the Beau’s website.
