VANKLEEK HILL, ON – Beau’s All Natural Brewing is continuing the 2015 edition of FeBREWary – a month of beer launches and events from the brewery – with the release this week of a new installment in Beau’s Pro-Am Series of collaborations with award winning homebrewers.
Le Cœur Noir is a 7.1% abv Black IPA developed by Jordan Rainhard, a homebrewer who is soon about to “go pro” with his own Rainhard Brewing in Toronto. Winner of the 2013 Toronto Beer Week Homebrew Contest, Le Cœur Noir is described as follows:
This contemporary American beer style takes the assertively hopped IPA to the dark side; juicy resinous hops are amply supported by a solid, toasty dark malt backbone. This robust ale is strong, though the alcohol remains well integrated.
Le Cœur Noir is available starting today (February 19th) at the brewery retail store and BYBO delivery service, and on tap at more than 150 participating bars and pubs across Ontario.
A two-day launch event for Le Cœur Noir will take place at the Beau’s brewery this weekend (February 21st & 22nd), with a special cask-conditioned version to be tapped on Saturday, and food pairings from Beau’s resident chef Bruce Wood.
For more details on these and other events and beer releases planned for the month, see the FeBREWary page on the Beau’s website.
