ABBOTSFORD, BC – The spate of new brewery openings in British Columbia continues to show no signs of slowing down, with another new entrant into the market now in operation in Abbotsford.
Old Abbey Ales was founded by brewing equipment importer and marketer Don Piccolo in partnership with NorthAm Finance, with veteran brewmaster Tony Dewald (pictured above) on staff to handle the development and production of the brewery’s beers.
Open to the public since late last week, Old Abbey is currently offering a selection of beers on tap and in growlers including Blonde Ale, IPA, Rye Pale Ale, Belgian Dark Strong and Belgian Single. The launch of the brewery’s core line-up of bottle-conditioned Belgian-style ales – including Belgian Tripel, Belgian Quad and Belgian IPA – will be following soon.
For more details on the brewery, its beers and operating hours, see the Old Abbey website and Facebook page.
