GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery has announced details of the latest installment in the Welly One-Off Series of limited edition beers.
Red Sky At Night – a bottle of which is being modelled by brewmaster Marvin Dyck in the photo above – is a wine barrel aged strong stout with the following notes:
Red Sky At Night is our legendary Imperial Russian Stout aged in Cabernet Franc wine barrels for 3 months. This rich full bodied imperial stout has notes of dark chocolate and coffee which blend wonderfully with pronounced grape aromas and tart cherry notes imparted by the wine barrels.
Red Sky At Night will be available today (Friday March 20th) in a limited run of 750 ml bottles exclusively at the Wellington retail store in Guelph.
