HALIFAX, NS – Atlantic Canada homebrewing and beer appreciation club The Brewnosers has announced details of its 1st annual competition for amateur brewers.
The Brewnosers Homebrew Competition 2015 is open to homebrewers from across the country, with entries to be evaluated by a panel of BJCP-certified and industry-member judges based on BJCP style guidelines.
Brewers are welcome to enter up to 15 beers in the competition, with no more than one in each sub-style, at a cost of $7 for the first entry and $5 for each additional. Registration can be made online until May 15th, and beers must be dropped off or delivered by the same deadline.
A wide variety of prizes have been provided by competition sponsors, including a grand prize of having a DIY Craft Beer kit from Best Case Beer developed based on the winning recipe. Winners will also be counted towards the national Brewer of the Year standings.
