KELOWNA, BC – Following on last month’s announcement that the seasonal Knox Mountain Brown Ale would be returning as part of a new series of unfiltered and dry-hopped ales, Tree Brewing has now revealed full details of what they’re calling the RAW Series.
Along with Knox Mountain – a 5.6% abv and 55 IBU brown ale described as having “a subtle roasted malt aroma, and a nutty, caramel flavour, with a dry, pleasant, mild hop finish” – the RAW Series also includes a relaunched version of Tree’s flagship HopHead IPA (5.6% abv, 64 IBU, “a full bodied India Pale Ale brewed for those that take their hops seriously”) and the new Monkey Pod Rye Ale (5.6% abv, 25 IBU, “brewed with a new Belgian yeast to bring forward a lot of aromas and flavours, combined with a Rye malt to add some spiciness and a little complexity”).
All three beers are available now in six-packs of 355 ml bottles at select beer retailers in British Columbia. A launch event featuring beer and food samples will take place at the Tree Brewing Beer Institute on Saturday April 25th from 1:00 to 5:00 PM.
