SASKATOON, SK – Global News reports that a nanobrewery founded by two long-time amateur brewers has opened its doors in Saskatoon.
9 Mile Legacy Brewing is the culmination of many years of collaborative homebrewing between partners Shawn Moen and Garrett Pederson.
Named after the fact that their respective families once owned farms nine miles apart near Swift Current, 9 Mile Legacy is located in a business incubator space in the Riversdale neighbourhood near the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market, and features a compact 150-litre brewhouse where the duo will be brewing a rotating line-up of ales, with up to four available at any given time.
The brewery opened for growler sales this past Wednesday, with 9 Mile English Pale Ale, El Groucho West Coast IPA, Stand-up Brown Ale and Bocephus White IPA available to purchase.
