HALIFAX, NS – Propeller Brewing has announced the release of a new seasonal brand, as well as the latest installment in the One Hit Wonder Series of limited edition beers.
Available for the spring is Propeller Rye IPA, a 6.8% abv and 72 IBU ale described as follows:
This brew showcases ample hop bitterness along with a citrus nose of hops from the Pacific Northwest balanced by the richness from the use of two row pale, crystal and rye malts. Propeller Rye IPA pours a deep amber colour with a creamy tan head. The generous addition of rye malt accentuates a spicy, crisp finish.
The new One Hit Wonder is All Tapped Out IPA, which checks in at 6.9% abv and 72 IBU, and has the following notes:
The first new IPA of 2015 brings greetings of sumptuous hop complexity. Brewed with 6 varieties of hops, the malt character has taken a back seat with this beers low-medium body to display these varietals at their best. All Tapped Out is slightly higher in alcohol than our tried and true IPA. This beer is sure to please any hophead!
Rye IPA is available now in 650 ml bottles at both Propeller retail stores, and soon at select NSLC locations and private liquor stores. All Tapped Out is available exclusively in growlers at the Propeller shops while supplies last.
