OTTAWA, ON – A new contract brewer is preparing to release its debut brand in Eastern Ontario next week.
Brasserie Tuque de Broue is being launched by Nicolas Malboeuf of Limoges, a small francophone community east of Ottawa.
The company’s debut beer, Tuque Dorée, is a 4.5% abv “Canadian Pale Ale” that is being brewed under contract at Kichesippi Beer while Malboeuf scouts locations for a bricks-and-mortar brewery.
Tuque Dorée will be available to licensees in 473 ml cans and 20 L & 50 L kegs, and if all goes as planned, the first pints of Tuque Dorée will be poured on Friday May 1st at O’Reilly’s in Perth and Schnitzels in Cornwall. Deliveries to other establishments in the region will follow over the May 2nd and 3rd weekend.
