TORONTO, ON – Black Oak Brewing has announced the release of the second beer in its Epiphany Series of “limited-release beers with bold, creative flavours and craft-brewing methods.”
Epiphany No. 2: Imperial Pilsner is an unfiltered strong lager with the following description:
Epiphany No. 2 is a play on styles as we combined both traditional Czech lager ingredients with Comet, Wakatu and Saaz hops. Weighing in at 7.7% and 37 IBU’s, you will find a pronounced bready malt forwardness, boozy warmth and floral bittnerness perfect for springtime enjoyment! Our brewers also added unmalted wheat to create a creamy foam cap. The result? A full-bodied beer that we are sure will satisfy both craft beer enthusiasts and lager drinkers alike.
Black Oak Epiphany No. 2 is available now at the brewery retail store, and soon at select LCBO outlets in Ontario, selling for $8.95 per 650 ml bottle. A launch event for the beer will take place at Wvrst (609 King St. W., Toronto) on Tuesday April 28th from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
