TORONTO, ON – Bush Pilot Brewing, the “gypsy brewery” project overseen by Vlado and Liliana Pavicic of import agency Roland + Russell, has announced details of its upcoming third release.
Pengo Pally is a 6.5% abv saison inspired by the life and legend of Johnny May, the first Inuk bush pilot, that was brewed using arctic herbs hand-picked in Nunavik. Its name is the English pronunciation of an Inuktitut phrase that translates to “I Miss You” which was written on the side of May’s plane.
Pengo Pally was brewed at Nickel Brook Brewing, and is due to be released this summer in a limited run of 750 ml bottles at select LCBO locations throughout Ontario.
