POWELL RIVER, BC – Townsite Brewing has announced details of two new limited edition releases – one the first installment in a new series, and the other the return of an annual favourite.
The first release from the brewery’s new barrel aging program is Barrel Aged Perfect Storm. This limited version of Townsite’s fall seasonal Perfect Storm Oatmeal Stout has been aging in Jack Daniels barrels for several months, and is described as a “yummy boozy session stout.”
Back for its third yearly visit is 7800 Saison. Named after the 7800 km distance between Powell River and head brewer Cédric Dauchot’s hometown of Horrues, Belgium, the 6.5% abv ale is described simply as a “classic unfiltered Belgian-style Saison.”
Both beers are available now in 650 ml bottles at select private liquor stores in British Columbia and the Townsite brewery store while supplies last.
