REGINA, SK – Following quiclly on the recent launch of a single-hop pale ale series, Bushwakker Brewpub has announced plans for another series of beers focused on a specific ingredient, although one not typically found in most beers.
The Bushwakker Single “Hot” Series is a new take on the annual Bushwakker tradition of having a chili beer available from May through September. Different chilies have been used in the beer each year, but for 2015, the brewery will change the chilies used throughout the year, featuring a single type in each batch as selected with the assistance of Tony Matharu at the India Food Centre in Regina.
The first version to be released on May 15th is Screamin’ Mosquito Chili Beer which was brewed with ultra-hot Scotch Bonnet peppers. It will be followed by versions made using Indian Green Chilies, Thai Green Chilies, and more to be announced.
Screamin’ Mosquito and future beers in the series will be available on tap in the brewpub, and in 650 ml bottles at the Bushwakker retail store, while quantities last.
