GUYSBOROUGH, NS – Rare Bird Craft Beer – the brewing arm of the Authentic Seacoast food, drink and hospitality company – has announced the release of a new year-round brand that has arrived just in time for Nova Scotia Craft Beer Week.
Rare Bird Red Ale is a 5% abv and 25 IBU ale with the following description:
Rare Bird Red Ale is an approachable ale, brewed for people who enjoy a well-balanced craft beer. Made with Authentic Seacoast Company’s Glanbùrn artesian water, this richly coloured beauty opens with a nice whiff of toffee and smoke from six different, deep-roasted malts, then with a refreshing bit of spice from Canadian rye, and then comes into balance with American hops.
Rare Bird Red Ale is available now in 500 ml bottles at NSLC and private liquor stores throughout Nova Scotia, as well as at the Rare Bird retail store. It will also be featured at a number of tastings and other events during NS Craft Beer Week – see the Rare Bird Craft Beer website for more details.
