TORONTO, ON – It’s less than a week until this year’s edition of Ontario Craft Beer Week kicks off with the Session Toronto festival, and as in previous years, one of the main attractions at Session will be Collaboration Nation, a set of beers created especially for the festival by featured breweries in collaboration with various celebrities, personalities and organizations.
For this year’s edition, 11 breweries are participating in the promotion, with the following partners and beers:
3 Brewers & Raina – Cool Beans Porter
Beau’s & k-os – Golden Vox Rye Pale Lager
Bell City & Scott Wilson – Round Trip Cherry Brown Ale
Big Rig & Exclaim! – An Imperial Beer
Big Rock & Judd Nelson – Lunchtime Stout
Innocente & Jordan St. John – Farmhouse Red Saison
Mill St. & USS – Synergy Saison
Muskoka & Drew Taylor – Drewbarb Saison
Old Tomorrow & Jon Montgomery – Monty’s Golden Ryed Ale
Sawdust City & Johnny Fay – Limberlost Saison
Side Launch & Toronto Roller Derby – Syrah Barrel-Aged Wheat Beer
All 11 beers will be served at Session Toronto, taking place on Saturday June 13th at Yonge-Dundas Square, with many of the celebrity collaborators expected to be on hand at the respective brewery tents to present and pour their beer.
Attendees can vote on their favourite, and the winner will be added to the general list at the LCBO this autumn, joining previous winners Spearhead Sam Roberts Session Ale (2014) and Beau’s The Tom Green Beer (2013).
