GORE BAY, ON – Split Rail Brewing has announced the release of its first two beers, as well as plans to officially open to the public next month in Gore Bay, a small town on Ontario’s Manitoulin Island in Lake Huron.
Founded by partners Andrea Smith and Eleanor Charlton, the brewery has launched with a Copper Lager and a Hawberry Ale, both developed by brewmaster Glenn Fobes.
Both beers are available now at Buoy’s Eatery, a restaurant and bar close to the brewery. The public grand opening for the brewery and tasting room at 31 Water St. in Gore Bay will take place on Friday, July 24th at 5:00 PM.
