Welcome to the CBN round-up of beer festivals and events for the coming week (Friday through Thursday), listed here with a bit more detail than what is featured on our popular Beer Festival Calendar page. Watch for a new installment every Thursday – assuming there are any events scheduled for the week ahead, of course.

TIP ‘N TASTE 2015

BECAUSE BEER CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL
Pier 4 Park – Hamilton, ON
Last year’s inaugural edition of this festival received rave reviews, and the 2015 installment promises to be just as impressive, with 30 breweries and cider-makers from across the province lined up to attend, accompanied by some of the region’s best food trucks, a solid line-up of local music, and other attractions.
Friday, July 10, 2015 – Sunday, July 12, 2015
BARRIE CRAFT BEER & BBQ FESTIVAL
Heritage Park – Barrie, ON
Seven breweries – including the debut of Barrie’s newest, Redline Brewhouse – and five ribbers will be offering their wares at this annual event on the city’s waterfront. Attendees are also encouraged to follow a “tasting trail” to various bars and restaurants in downtown Barrie, and a pair of beer dinners & a couple of brewmaster sessions round out the weekend
Friday, July 10, 2015 – Sunday, July 12, 2015
PORT MOODY RIBFEST
Rocky Point Park – Port Moody, BC
Ribs and other southern-style foods are the main focus of this first annual fundraiser for Rotary Club of Port Moody, but several local breweries – including Yellow Dog, Red Truck and Moody Ales – will be serving up beer to wash down the BBQ.
Saturday, July 11, 2015
TASTING NB
The Capital Complex, 362 Queen St. – Fredericton, NB

Saturday, July 11, 2015
CORNWALL SUMMER BEER FEST
Jet Set Pub, NAV Centre, 1950 Montreal Rd. – Cornwall, ON
An off-shoot of the Seaway Food Festival, this first annual event will be putting the spotlight on the craft breweries of Eastern Ontario – plus a guest or two from the west – along with food from local vendors.
Saturday, July 11, 2015
DURHAM CRAFT BEER FESTIVAL
Buster Rhino’s, 28 King St. E. – Oshawa, ON
BBQ restaurant Buster Rhino’s was one of the first establishments in Oshawa to offer a wide range of Ontario craft beers to their customers, so it’s fitting that it’s also the host location for the region’s only craft beer festival. For this third semi-annual edition, 13 breweries from throughout the province will be on hand, along with a few goodies from Buster’s own selection.
Saturday, July 11, 2015
SQUAMISH BEER FESTIVAL
O’Siyam Pavilion – Squamish, BC
Another event making its debut this year, this one-day festival in downtown Squamish will feature more than 120 beers from 40 breweries, local food and live music.
