BARRIE, ON – A soon-to-open brewpub in Barrie will be offering its beer to the public for the first time at this weekend’s Downtown Barrie Craft Beer & BBQ Festival.
Redline Brewhouse will be opening at 431 Bayview Drive later this month, but to give local drinkers an advance taste, they’ll be at the festival pouring cans of Clutch American Pale Ale, a 4.8% abv ale that is described as follows:
Clutch pours a hazy straw colour and is topped with a creamy white head. A large dose of flaked oats provides a luscious and soft mouthfeel. Hopped generously with Centennial, Citra, Amarillo, and Mandarina Bavaria, Clutch bursts with flavours of orange peel, grapefruit, peaches and pine. A load of dry-hops are used at the end of fermentation for lush aromas of fresh tropical fruit, pine, and citrus. Soft and aggressive at the same time, Clutch is right where you want it.
Other brands coming soon from Redline include 5:01 Golden Ale and Speed Wobble American Strong Ale.
