POWELL RIVER, BC – Townsite Brewing has announced that an early blackberry harvest in BC has led to an early return for one of its most popular seasonal brands.
Blackberry FestivALE made its debut in 2012, and has been brought back every year since to be enjoyed in conjunction with the Powell River Blackberry Festival each August.
Returning next week for a limited time, the 5.5% abv blackberry wheat ale is briefly described as follows:
A seasonal fruit beer brewed annually to celebrate the favourite fruit of Powell River. Blackberries provide a tart and subtle backdrop for this wheat beer. Fruity aromatics complement this unfiltered, round-bodied summer sipper.
Townsite Blackberry FestivALE will be available in the Townsite retail store and select private liquor stores on the Sunshine Coast, Vancouver and Vancouver Island while supplies last. It will be joined by an even more limited sour version in coming weeks.
