GUELPH, ON – Wellington Brewery is reaching its 30th anniversary this year, and in a move quite fitting for a brewery that was among the first to revive cask ale in North America, it will be holding a cask ale festival to mark the impressive milestone.
Taking place on September 26th and 27th at the brewery (950 Woodlawn Road West, Guelph), Thirty: Wellington Brewery Cask Ale Festival will feature more than 30 one-off cask beers from Wellington, plus a selection of collaborative and guest beers from other Ontario craft breweries.
Each of the three sessions – Saturday 11:00 AM-4:00 PM and 5:00 PM-10:00 PM, and Sunday 12:00 noon-5:00 PM – will also feature live music and DJs, performances, and food by local vendors.
Tickets for each session are $20, which includes admission, a sampling glass, two drink tokens, a commemorative program, and local shuttle bus service. Proceeds will go to support the Children’s Foundation of Guelph and Wellington.
