CALGARY, AB – Beer import and representation agency Craft Beer Importers has announced that it will soon be bringing North America’s first Trappist beer to Canada for the first time.
Spencer Brewery was launched in early 2014 by the monks of St. Joseph’s Abbey in Spencer, Massachusetts. One of only 11 Trappist breweries in the world and the first outside of Europe, its flagship beer is Spencer Trappist Ale, a 6.5% abv Belgian-style ale described as “a full-bodied, sunrise-hued ale with fruity accents, a dry finish and light hop bitterness.”
