FREDERICTON, NB – Picaroons Traditional Ales has announced the release of the 2015 edition of Picaroons Harvest Ale, or more accurately Harvest Ales – plural – as there will be seven different versions of this year’s offering to choose from.
As in the last couple of years, multiple batches of the pale ale were brewed with Maritime malts, and each with a different variety of freshly picked hops – Centennial, Nugget, Goldings, Chinook, Crystal, Cascade and Willamette – harvested from six hops farms in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI.
To give customers more details about the beers than what can fit on a label, a special “My Harvest” web page allows them to look up the batch number to find out what hops were used to make the beer in the bottle, as well as a bit about the farmers who grew them.
All seven versions of Picaroons Harvest Ale will be available while supplies last at ANBL locations throughout New Brunswick, NSLC outlets in Nova Scotia, and PEILCC stores in PEI, as well as at the Picaroons Brewtique in Frederticton.
