HALIFAX, NS – Unfiltered Brewing has announced details of its next limited specialty beer, which will be released tomorrow (September 25th).
Hop Riot India Red Ale is a 7.3% abv and “unknown” IBU fresh hop beer described as follows:
It’s Nash’s first single-varietal fresh-hopped beer, made with 200 kg (that’s right, 200, not 20) of Centennial. We try to keep things as local as we can at Unfiltered, and we were very happy to find that the Maritime Hop Growers Cooperative could provide all we needed for the batch. They were in the mash-tun within about six hours of harvesting, and you can taste the fresh hoppiness and roasted malt.
Hop Riot India Red Ale will be available for growler fills at the Unfiltered retail store starting at 12:00 noon tomorrow.
