VANCOUVER, BC – This year’s edition of BC Craft Beer Month starts tomorrow (October 1st), and to officially kick off the festivities, the BC Craft Brewers Guild will be holding a showcase event at one of Vancouver’s newest craft beer destinations.
Starting at 6:00 PM tomorrow, the taps at Central City on Beatty will be pouring a selection of seasonal and specialty brands from 24 of the province’s best craft breweries, including Bridge, Fernie, Moody Ales, Steel & Oak, and Tree.
The event will also serve as a launch event for the Guild’s new #BCFirst initiative. As explained by Ken Beattie, Executive Director of the BC Craft Brewers Guild, “#BCFirst is our new brand & hash tag that celebrates and supports local BC Craft brewers. BC has some of the best craft beer in the world so we encourage beer fans to support #BCFirst.”
