VICTORIA, BC – Category 12 Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition beer which comes as the brewery enters the homestretch of its Barrelholder Program crowdfunding campaign.
Subversion Imperial IPA is a 8.7% abv ale with the following description:
Abandon your previous loyalties, pay attention, covert C12 operations have been taking place! This weekend we call to action all Hop Heads, Bitterness Beaus, Lupulin Lovers, Alpha Acid Afficionados and IPA Appreciators, as we welcome the launch of Subersion Imperial IPA. This hop lovers fantasy is a big, bold double IPA inspired by the best IPA’s the West Coast has to offer. A balanced, mellow malt bill with a dry finish allows us to showcase this beer’s massive hop character.
Subversion is available at the brewery starting today (Friday October 2nd), with an official launch party featuring Hank’s BBQ and The Zone @ 91.3 taking place tomorrow. 650 ml bottles will be distributed to local liquor stores starting next week.
