FERNIE, BC – Fernie Brewing has announced that its Bucket List series of limited edition IPAs has returned for another year, and will be increasing from four beers released on a quarterly cycle to six beers released bimonthly.
Kicking off the series for the third time is Rockpile Red IPA, a 7.2% abv and 80 IBU ale that is described as follows:
FBC’s Brewmaster selected Admiral, Ahtanum and Chinook Hops for their fine characteristics, with the use of Caramel and Crystal Malts bringing about the Malt balance. Truly a profusion of flavour to entice your taste buds, it’s not for the faint of heart, but definitely a beer for your bucket list.
The series will continue with the following release sequence:
- December 2015: Snowblind Belgian IPA
- February 2016: Quiet Rye’t Rye IPA
- April 2016: new brand TBA
- June 2016: Last Cast Summer IPA
- August 2016: new brand TBA
All six beers will be available in limited runs of 650 ml bottles at select stores in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba, with the latter province getting them at a slightly later date.
