VICTORIA, BC – Moon Under Water Brewpub has announced that a popular IPA brand has returned, with a new look and tweaked recipe.
Tranquility IPA is a 6.5% abv and 70 IBU ale with the following description:
This is the style that started it all and we’re not talking about Olde England here, we’re talking circa 1990 West Coast craft brewing at its finest. Citrusy, resinous, and piney, this beer is a throwback to the pioneers of craft. Peace, Love, and Hoppiness.
The relaunch also brings with it a newly designed label by Bjauna Sorensen, the Vancouver based graphic designer who was also behind the label of Hip as Funk Farmhouse IPA earlier this year – and like that label, the new Tranquility branding features the image of “a non-sexualised woman […] designed to take on the sexist branding that still seems to be the norm in the brewing industry.”
Moon Under Water Tranquility IPA is available now on tap at the Moon Under Water, and in bottles at private liquor stores across Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland.
