PENTICTON, BC – Bad Tattoo Brewing has announced the upcoming release of two limited edition beers that will be released in conjunction with Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebrations at the brewery.
Dia de Los Muertos Cerveza Fuerte and Dia de Los Muertos La Resurrección are both Belgian-style dark ales, with the latter aged in Tennessee whiskey barrels in enhance the aroma and flavour.
Cerveza Fuerte is described as having “notes of dried fruits, dates and prunes,” while La Resurrección offers “dried fruits and warming spices, [with] underlying flavours of bourbon, oak, vanilla and toasted coconut.”
Limited to 1200 and 600 bottles respectively, the two beers will be debuted on November 1st at the brewery as part of Bad Tattoo’s Day of the Dead Festival, featuring Mexican-styled decor, a food buffet, beer samples, Latin beats from a local DJ, face painting and more.
