CALGARY, AB – The Calgary Herald reports that the CRAFT Beer Market gastropub chain is planning to open a second location in Calgary next year.
Situated in the Southcentre Mall in the south end of Calgary, the new CRAFT will follow the model of the original location which opened in the city’s Beltline District in 2011, offering 100+ taps of craft beer and high quality food with a focus on local ingredients.
Set to open in the summer of 2016, the Southcentre CRAFT will be the fifth in the chain, which also includes outposts in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Ottawa (the latter opening in early 2016). There are also plans to launch five locations in China, and the company is scouting in Toronto for a possible future expansion.
