LONDON, ON – Forked River Brewing has announced the return of an award-winning barrel-aged stout for second winter run.
Weendigo Imperial Stout is described as follows:
Gold medal winner at the 2015 Canadian Brewing Awards, this is the king of stouts. Aged for almost six months in Wild Turkey bourbon barrels, this velvety, rich, and roasty brew is ideal for the cold nights ahead. Clocking in at 10.2% ABV, Weendigo is warming, but not harsh – the whisky and oak flavours compliment the luscious roasted malt character, providing incredible complexity.
Weendigo Imperial Stout is available now in 500 ml bottles at the Forked River retail store, and will be released next week at select LCBO outlets in Ontario.
