TECUMSEH, ON – The rapidly expanding craft brewing community of Southwestern Ontario is about to grow again, with the opening tomorrow (December 8th) of Frank Brewing in Tecumseh, just outside of Windsor.
Founded by Shane Meloche, owner of nearby bar and grill Johnny Shotz, Frank is planned to be “a unique craft brewery that celebrates our rich past while creating an exciting new era in local brewing.”
Located at 12000 Tecumseh Rd. E., the Frank facility includes a 15 barrel brewhouse with three 30 barrel fermenters and two 15 barrel fermenters, as well as a 2,400 square foot taproom offering a selection of Frank beers along with a food menu focused on pizzas and deli sandwiches.
The initial line-up of beers from the brewery will include No Nonsense Lagered Ale (5.4% abv, 21 IBU), Big Harvest Dark Wheat (5.2% abv, 14 IBU), Simple Man Oatmeal Stout (6.1% abv, 22 IBU), Smooth Hoperator Pale Ale (4.4% abv, 32 IBU), and Old Comrade Amber Lager (4.7% abv, 21 IBU).
In addition to being served at the brewery taproom, Frank beers will also be available at Johnny Shotz (13037 Tecumseh Rd. E.).
