WHITEHORSE, YK – Yukon Brewing has announced the release of a new limited edition beer that is the first even American-style pale ale from the brewery.
I’m Leaving Today APA is described as follows:
I’m Leaving Today is a hoppy but (in our normal fashion) full bodied and malty version of this west coast style. The malt bill is pretty straight forward – mostly two row pale malt with a bit of Munich 10, a bit of crystal, and just a dash of black malt. It is the hops that are the stars of I’m Leaving Today, however. We add hops four times, starting with some Cluster, followed by Belma, followed by Legacy, followed by Galaxy. Then, to be sure that there is plenty of hop aroma and flavour, a bit more Belma at attenuation.
I’m Leaving Today APA is available now in growlers at the Yukon Brewery store and tasting room, with 650 ml bomber bottles to be available soon in the Yukon and Alberta.
