FREDERICTON, NB – The final days of 2015 saw the launch of another brewery in Atlantic Canada, as Maybee Brewing started pouring its first beers in Fredericton.

Founded by homebrewer Paul Maybee and his wife Mikey, the eponymous brewery made its public debut at a Christmas Beer Garden at Boyce Farmers’ Market on December 20th, followed by a “meet the maker” event at the James Joyce Pub on December 30th.

Maybee currently has two brands available – Roseway Red (6% abv, 70 IBU), an American Amber, and Workhorse IPA (7.2% abv, 70 IBU), an American IPA – with distribution currently limited to kegs at local bars and pubs, but the brewery tasting room and retail store is expected to open soon at 559 Wilsey Road.
