TORONTO, ON – Henderson Brewing has announced plans to launch its first brand later this month at the pub where founders Steve Himel and Mark Benzaquen formulated many of the plans for the brewery.
Henderson’s Best – described as “a modern take on classic ESB – a refreshing ale with a mild floral nose and an ABV of 5%” – will make its debut at Toronto’s Monarch Tavern (12 Clinton St.) on January 20th at 8:00 PM, with Himel and Benzaquen set to be on hand to buy the first pint for all attendees.
Following the launch event, Henderson’s Best – which is currently being brewed under contract while construction of the permanent Henderson facility continues – will be available on tap at select bars and pubs throughout the city.
The Henderson brewery and taproom is expected to open in Toronto’s Junction Triangle neighbourhood in April 2016.
