ST. THOMAS, ON – Railway City Brewing has announced details of the first release in a new series of limited edition beers.
The Railway City Side Show Series will be kicking off with The Strong Man, a 10.3% abv Belgian-style dark ale with the following description:
To the nose, a sweet scent of cola and dark fruits such as cherry and plum with an underlying hint of black liquorice and bubblegum. As this chestnut hued brew grazes the palate, flavours of caramelized sugars like the sweet toppings of crème brûlée fill your mouth revealing the taste of ripe banana on the finish.
The Strong Man will be launched at the brewery this Thursday January 21st starting at 7:00 PM. The $5 admission includes samples of the new beer and several other Railway City brands, and spots can be reserved by emailing info@railwaycitybrewing.com, calling 519-631-1881, or sending a direct message via Facebook or Twitter.
Following the release event, The Strong Man will be available in 500 ml bottles at the Railway City brewery store while supplies last.
