QUESNEL, BC – Barkerville Brewing has announced that an award-winning wheat ale previously released as a limited run seasonal brand will now be available on a year-round basis.
White Gold Witbier is a 4.9% abv Belgian-style wheat ale brewed with coriander and orange peel and described as a “light-bodied, refreshing beer that starts out with citrus on the palate, [and] finishes crisp with hints of stone fruit.”
The decision to promote the beer to Barkerville’s core brand line-up was made following its gold medal win in the German/Belgian Wheat Beers category at the 2015 BC Beer Awards last October.
Barkerville White Gold Witbier is available in 650 ml bottles at private liquor stores and on draught at select bars and pubs throughout British Columbia.
