MONTREAL, QCMcAuslan Brewery has announced the release this latest editions of two annual favourites in their brand line-up.

Released late last year was St-Ambroise Vintage Ale 2015, a 10% abv barley wine with the following description:

Brewed just once a year, St-Ambroise Vintage Ale has earned a bushel of international medals and praise. Its masterful blend of barley and wheat malts includes Munich malt, giving the unfiltered beer an appealing orange glow and superb malty flavour. You’ll love its notes of caramelized fruit, evoking memories of plum pudding, and refreshing hoppy finish.

Out this month is the 2016 batch of St-Ambroise Scotch Ale, which has the following notes:

When you raise a glass of St-Ambroise Scotch Ale, you’re celebrating four centuries of Scottish heritage in Canada. Behind its deep ruby colour and amber head is a strong beer with a robust 7.5% alcohol. Your taste buds will thrill to its smooth, malty taste with hints of vanilla and caramel, rounded out by a long, hoppy finish. Slàinte Mhòr!

Both beers are available now at beer retailers in Quebec while supplies last.
